In these sessions, we will explore the social and affective neurosciences beneath the behaviors of adults and students understanding how 'survival' nervous system states present in our classrooms and schools while addressing the processes of repairing and restoring a sense of felt safety. We have been 'crisis teaching' during three years of a pandemic, and we all have been surviving so how do we begin to reclaim cultures of awareness and curative healing?
